| In 1998 Linda defeated long term County Clerk Wilburn Beck and became the first female County Clerk elected in Hamblen County. During her first 2 terms in office some of the goals reached were organization of staff and job duties, transistion of all records to computers, and expanding services at the satellite office. | |
